Alexia is a Partner in the Finance Group.
Alexia specialises in asset finance, leasing and project finance, where she acts primarily for banks and other financial institutions, equity investors, export credit agencies, and other lenders and lessors.
Her asset finance and leasing practice focusses on transactions in the shipping, aviation and rail sectors, while in the project finance sphere she has developed strong expertise in the energy sector, especially as relating to renewables.
Alexia has extensive experience in structuring, documenting and negotiating acquisitions, financing and leasing transactions and has been involved in numerous complex restructurings in the last few years. She has also developed a strong track record advising on ECA-backed financings.
She is recommended for her expertise as a finance lawyer to the broader transport sector by legal directories Chambers Europe, Legal 500 EMEA and IFLR 1000.
- Advising two syndicates of banks in relation to a SACE-backed pre- and post-delivery financing of four 3,300 passenger cruise vessels to be built by the Italian shipyard Fincantieri S.p.A and to be purchased by four wholly-owned subsidiaries of NCL Corporation Ltd.
- Advising the Société Générale Group in connection with the refinancing of nine H135 helicopters and one Bell 429 helicopter, owned by Iris Helicopter Leasing Limited.
- Advising the shareholders of the European locomotive and rolling stock leasing company, Ascendos Investments Limited, in connection with its sale to Beacon Rail Leasing owned by Pamplona Capital Management.
- Advising Banco Santander on the circa US$252 million financing granted to La Pampilla, a Peruvian refinery 83% owned by Repsol, the leading Spanish energy company.
- Advising a French bank in relation to a facility supported by Finnvera to finance two commercial contracts entered into between subsidiaries of company Pampa Energia SA and Wärtsilä Finland Oyj for the purchase of a 100MW dual-fuel plant and six 50DF dual-fuel engines.

Spécialisée en financement d’actifs, leasing et financement de projet, Alexia conseille principalement des banques, des institutions financières, des investisseurs, des agences de crédit export, d’autres prêteurs et des bailleurs.
S’agissant de financement d’actifs et de leasing, Alexia intervient essentiellement dans les secteurs de l’aviation, du transport maritime et ferroviaire. En matière de financement de projet, elle a développé une expertise dans le domaine de l’énergie, notamment les énergies renouvelables.
Elle accompagne ses clients sur la structuration d’opérations d’acquisition, de financement et de leasing et a participé ces dernières années à de nombreuses opérations de restructuration complexes. Elle a également développé une forte expertise en matière de financement export.

- Conseil de deux syndicats de prêteurs sur le financement pre et post-livraison garanti par SACE de quatre navires de croisière d’une capacité de 3.300 passagers chacun, devant être construits par le chantier naval Fincantieri S.p.A et achetés par quatre filiales de NCL Corporation Ltd.
- Conseil du Groupe Société Générale dans le cadre du refinancement de neuf hélicoptères de type H135 et d’un hélicoptère de type Bell 429, détenus par Iris Helicopter Leasing Limited.
- Conseil des actionnaires d’Ascendos Investments Limited dans le cadre de sa cession à Beacon Rail Leasing, une société détenue par Pamplona Capital Management.
- Conseil de Banco Santander sur le financement à hauteur de 252 millions de dollars (USD) octroyé à La Pampilla, raffinerie péruvienne détenue à 83% par Repsol, leader dans l’énergie en Espagne.
- Conseil d’une banque française sur un financement garanti par Finnvera de deux contrats commerciaux conclus entre Pampa Energia SA et Wärtsilä Finland Oyj pour l’acquisition d’une centrale thermique bi-combustible de 100 MW et de six moteurs bi-combustibles (50DF).
