Vivienne Zhao is a Legal Manager in the Assets & Structured Finance group based in Hong Kong.
She has experience advising on asset finance transactions including Japanese operating leases, asset portfolio sale and lease novation, pre-delivery financing, operating leases and finance leases. She has advised on various shipping finance and leasing transactions.
Vivienne is a PRC qualified lawyer.
She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Advised CCB Financial Leasing in a JOLCO transaction involving FPG, BTMU, NAB and CCB as lenders relating to the financing of six (6) A321-200 aircraft. “Deal of the Year”, 2018 Asia Finance Editors.
- Advised Haitong UT Leasing HK Limited on portfolio purchase and financing for eight (8) aircraft under Hong Kong’s new tax regime. “Overall Deal of the Year”, 2019 China Airfinance Journal Award.
- Advised a PRC leading leasing company on delivery and operating lease of eight (8) aircraft on lease to a reputable PRC airline.
- Advised a PRC leasing company on finance lease of four (4) Boeing 737-800 aircraft on sub-lease to a Pakistan airline.
- Advised a HK Insurance Company as mezzanine lender on financing to a European borrower of one (1) Boeing 787-10 aircraft on lease to a leading airline.
